Mapping Symbol: Cb 

These are long narrow areas of sand and gravel along Puget Sound. Small areas of tidal marsh are included. These beach areas are above mean tide but are swept by storm waves. 

Flooding Potential: High

Use and Management: These soils are subject to severe tidal flooding and are highly variable in nature. They have severe limitations for recreational and engineering purposes.
