2008 Election Results
for Board of Supervisors Position No. 2

The King Conservation District held a public election on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 to fill position No. 2 on its five-member Board of Supervisors.  The declared candidate for this position was Bob Vos who has served on the Board of Supervisors since 2005.  The unofficial results for the election are 185 votes for Bob Vos and 11 votes for write-in candidates.  Election results will be certified by the Washington Conservation Commission at its May, 2008 business meeting.

Election polling stations were hosted at the following 10 locations:

  • Auburn City Hall – 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA

  • Enumclaw Fairgrounds Administrative Office – 5224 - 284th Avenue SE, Enumclaw, WA

  • Issaquah Fish Hatchery – 125 West Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA

  • Kirkland City Hall – 123 Fifth Avenue, Kirkland, WA

  • Maple Valley Senior Center – 221010 SE 248th, Maple Valley, WA

  • Renton City Hall – 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA

  • Seattle City Hall – 600 – 4th Avenue, Seattle, WA

  • Shoreline Center – 18560 – 1st Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA

  • Snoqualmie Valley Community Center – 4610 Stephens Ave., Carnation, WA

  • Vashon Maury Island Grange Hall – 11913 – 103rd Avenue SW, Vashon, WA


The District retained an independent contractor titled Election Trust to administer its 2008 election.
